Some seriously impressive stuff, if this was a decade ago, imagine your prowess now?

excellent.

ZirilliumFrostbite responds:

Hey thanks bud! For the headache this gave me I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. I still want to make it look like a biscuit though, the prelim looked far more like a tasty treat and that seems like a fun place to explore

I assume this is based off that one art piece that Bandai commissioned back for the winners of that one Xenoverse 1 tourney that happened back when, or at least heavily inspired.

It's not a bad artwork at all, although it would have been preferable had you shaded with complimentary colors instead of plain darker values. And aside from the slight anatomy mistake on the Fasha lookin' one (far left, she needs to be bending lower), it's pretty good. I'd just recommend drawing your own background next time, since i'm not too certain on NG's policy on using in-game assets in art pieces.

Jalestar responds:

I read their policy about backgrounds, it’s fine as long as you put a link to the original image, in which I did. You’re right, the art piece was inspired by that tournament art piece. I’m not used to drawing in this art style, but thank you for your feedback.

Take my 5 R, you wont.

TheDyingSun responds:

Bet

Nice. It's got a funky loading screen style to it, and I'm quite enjoying the expression on mr shade there. Only minor gripe is the background seems disconnected from the rest of everything, but it's pretty minor. Good job on this one.

Syrupmasterz responds:

Now that you point it out, the background is sort of like Crash Bash's loading screen. :P

I was trying to make a more detailed Void Vortex in Photoshop, but maybe in doing so I created a disconnect from the vector art that Flash uses. I still have the files, so maybe I'll do some experiments later. haha

I regret to inform thee, but there appears to be a red spy in the base.

Syrupmasterz responds:

A RED SPY IS IN THE BASE!?

Radical art man, keep up the fine work.

weewoojap responds:
